If the first book had me in tears, this one gutted me. Aside from all things Absolam, this story was so much fun!

I loved seeing Georgette in such a different environment and watching her grow and thrive.

Mercy's family was a trip. Her king of a brother is a bit of a douche, but her sisters are wonderful. I loved seeing their personalities grow, mature, and develop into a couple of badass chicks.

If you need a pirate adventure with all the banter, royal intrigue, and enemies-to-lovers vibes, you need this duology.
