by Monroe Wildrose
The sequel to Too Sweet, picking up a few months after the end of that story.
Monroe receives endless praise for her representation of Type 1 Diabetes in Too Sweet and she's done it again in this story, bringing anxiety to the forefront.
Maisie's anxiety attacks and struggles are by far the most relatable representations of my own personal struggles that I've ever read.
And Crispin? The way he tries to help and understand her reminds me so much of my husband. It's wonderful.
This is another lovely novella, set just after high school with an arranged marriage, a massive pink Christmas tree, and a guy who really deserves to be punched in the face.
I was luck enough to get an ARC of this one, but you can preorder it now! Publishing 12.26.24
